“Shooting Stars” a finalist for the 2020 Peseroff Prize
Am pleased to share that this poem “Shooting Stars” was a finalist for the 2020 Peseroff Prize awarded by the Breakwater Review, Issue No. 28. Inspired by my son, this meditation on motherhood and the strange journey that it is was paired with a diagram of meteors in which I changed the word “meteor” to “mother.”
